DinnerMatch is an online platform created and operated by the DinnerMatch team. Any communication regarding these Terms & Conditions may be directed to us through the Help Center in the DinnerMatch app.

DinnerMatch is a platform designed to connect people through curated social dinners and events. By signing up for our service, users agree to be matched with others based on their preferences and profiles, for the purpose of shared group dining experiences.

By registering or using the DinnerMatch platform, whether via web or mobile app, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use our services.

To use DinnerMatch, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old;
• Be legally able to enter into a binding agreement;
• Provide accurate and complete information;
• Not have been previously banned from DinnerMatch for misconduct.

DinnerMatch offers:

• Group matching for social dinners;
• Restaurant reservation services on your behalf;
• Feedback features to improve future group compatibility.

DinnerMatch makes every effort to match compatible individuals but does not guarantee group dynamics, specific ages, or gender ratios.

• Dinner bookings are made via the platform for pre-selected dates and restaurants.
• The cost of meals is not included in the platform fee unless otherwise stated.
• You must attend alone and may not bring guests.

• Cancellations made less than 48 hours before a dinner may result in loss of booking fee and a penalty on your profile.
• No-shows may result in temporary suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

• Payments are processed via PayFast or other secure payment gateways.
• You agree to the terms of the payment processor.
• Refunds are only issued within the platform's cancellation policy window.

You agree to:

• Treat other users with respect;
• Avoid offensive, aggressive, or inappropriate behaviour;
• Use DinnerMatch only for its intended purpose of forming meaningful social connections.

DinnerMatch reserves the right to remove users who violate community guidelines without refund.

• DinnerMatch selects restaurants but is not liable for food quality, dietary issues, or service.
• We attempt to accommodate preferences but cannot guarantee restrictions will be met.

• Feedback after each dinner helps us improve group matching.
• DinnerMatch uses an internal compatibility system, but results are not guaranteed.

• By using DinnerMatch, you agree that some information (first name, profile photo) may be visible to matched users.
• Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

All branding, design, and content on DinnerMatch are owned by DinnerMatch and may not be used or reproduced without written permission.

DinnerMatch may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service implies acceptance of the new terms.

DinnerMatch is not responsible for personal interactions, experiences, or outcomes resulting from matches or dinners. Our responsibility is limited to the provision of the platform and its features.

DinnerMatch reserves the right to terminate your access to the platform at any time for violation of these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
